Happy International women’s day
Dear Sisters
I would first of all want to thank you for the newsletters that you send for me and I would also like to mention that I have recently been unable to stay in touch easily , as you may know that I was in prison for one month because of my women right’s activities ,( one million signatures campaign , Iranian women museum, Iranian women library, writing many articles about women ) one day after writing an article about Ashura against violence in our website:
and have only been released recently but conditionally and on bail( as I may have to go back to prison).
I would like to thank dear Bettina and Astrid for their letters of support and congratulating me on my freedom (even though it is not freedom and I am not free). I had spoken to dear Astrid before my imprisonment and she is aware that I am not allowed to leave my country, if the ban is lifted by then I will be with you if not Mrs Ebadi or Parastoo Forouhar will participate so we can keep the name of Iran and Iranian museum in the solidarity with Women’s museum network.
